A Hellenic Entrepreneurship Center in the U.S.A.

The American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce USA (AmChamGR-US) was established in 2024 by its institutional partner, the American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, to advance its mission to facilitate bilateral trade and investment at a time of historic highs in U.S.-Greece relations. Set up as a separate non-profit legal entity (501c6) in the U.S., it is a membership-based organization that offers its members the opportunity to tap into the huge resources of the U.S. market, network, and claim their place in the U.S.-Greece strategic partnership.

AmChamGR-US aims to become a catalyst for expanding and deepening bilateral economic ties, unlocking the opportunities of doing business in both countries. From a new premium location in Washington, D.C., AmChamGR-US will serve as a Center for Greek Entrepreneurship in the U.S.A., connecting the ambition of the Greek business sector with the dynamism of American business, including those of the successful Greek American community.

AmChamGR-US provides enhanced benefits that complement and add on to its institutional partner’s unique position in Greece as the oldest and best positioned business association. Its range of services and events include facilitation for doing business in the U.S. and Greece, strategic insights and informed economic and market analysis, effective advocacy including through our institutional connection to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and a powerful networking community of dynamic and trusted partners and professionals in both countries.

AmChamGR-US Pillars of Value

By providing tailor-made information and facilitation, networking, and development and training, the new entity focuses on the three main pillars that lie at the heart of its mission, tailoring its services, initiatives and events to the U.S. priorities of its AmChamGR membership and to the needs of its U.S. based members.

Pillar I:
Information and facilitation

The US office provides AmCham Greece members with a one stop shop in the U.S. capital to gain information on opportunities in the U.S. market and how to best capitalize on them. It offers access to legal and other professional partners, trade and FDI intelligence, enhanced reports, export expertise for SMEs by complementing the services of TradeUSA. Through commissioned reports, position papers, direct engagement, and specialized events, the Chamber acts on behalf of tis members to advocate for closer bilateral business ties and bring its top-class advocacy on behalf of its members to the U.S. capital, providing a liaison to U.S. officials, business authorities and industry organizations, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Pillar II:
Networking

The US office offers a new premium location and the chance to interact with dynamic members that have or aspire to a base in the US, and are interested to do business either with Greek companies, or in Greece. It also adds to the numerous opportunities to network in Chamber organized events in Greece by expanding on the other side of the Atlantic to organize a flagship bilateral summit, training and development events on-site and online, and trade and door-knock missions throughout the United States.

Development and training

The US office offers access to world-renowned conferences and summits, popular seminars, and tailor-made professional development and training opportunities. Through its reports and special events, it enhances its members’ corporate profile in the US, raises awareness about bilateral trade and investment, and helps develop Chamber positions on emerging and existing policy issues and bilateral economic relations.
